Unanswered questions

Over the years as I travelled across the world and seeing people and culture, started seeing a pattern. A pattern among very ditinct people and communities but carry and similar thread of connectedness. These question always reoccur every year

* Why festivals occur at similar times across world among totally different religions ?
* Why in different countries people seems show similar emotions and particular times of year.
* Why haloween in west, festival to ward of spooky things and monsters in us sounds similar the
Diwali of India which conveys same spirit to war of evils by lights

Why so disconnected still feel connected
